The focus here is on altering the distribution of moisture within the premises. We assess the splash zones in wet areas and recommend or assist with the installation of water barriers, waterproof curtains, or adjustments to drainage slopes. By physically separating wet and dry zones, we reduce the likelihood of pests crossing between them.
We also place moisture-absorbing buffer strips at the interface between wet and dry areas and regularly monitor their moisture content, replacing them promptly when saturated. Through this combination of physical separation and moisture buffering, we create a natural barrier against pest migration without requiring changes to the client’s daily habits.
